Bread Machine Whole Wheat Dinner Rolls Recipe source: from mom, originally from www.bettycrocker.com 1 c water 1/4 c honey 1 tsp salt 1 T flax OR 1 # egg 3.25 c flour 3 tsp yeast 2 tbsp oil Measure and put the ingredients in the bread machine in order (liquid first, make a well for yeast so it doesn't touch the liquid) Turn it to Dough cycle. Do not use Delay cycle. Make a lightly floured surface. With a bit of flour on hands, remove dough from bread maker and put it on floured surface. Cover with a towel. Leave it for 10 minutes. Oil botton of a pan. Divide dough into 15 balls. Put in pan. Brush with oil. Cover with towel. Let rise in a warm place until they rise to double (maybe 30 minutes, but probably at least an hour for whole wheat flour). Dough is ready if indentation remains when touched. Heat oven to 375F. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
