ham_quiche vegetable:1 meat:1 yield (meals * people):4 prep.:20 cook:40 recipe source: Grocery store 4 # eggs 1 c cottage cheese 2 tbsp vegetable oil 0.25 c flour 0.5 tsp baking powder 1 c cheddar cheese or swiss cheese 0.25 c green onion or regular onion 1 # small tomato 1 c diced ham (try getting lunchmeat ham at the market so I can eat the rest) -Melt the butter (15 seconds in microwave). -Whisk the eggs in a large bowl. -In another medium bowl, mix the cottage cheese, butter, flour and baking powder. -Whisk this mixture into the eggs. -Grate the cheese, putting it into the mixture. -Chop the onion, putting it into the mixture. -Preheat the oven to 400F. -Dice the tomato, putting it into the mixture. -Add the ham to the mixture. -Mix it all together. -Grease a baking dish. -Put the mixture in the baking dish. -Bake at 400F for 15 minutes, then reduce the heat to 325F and bake for another 25-30 minutes, or until you can poke a knife into the middle and it comes out clean.
